Identified - We’ve identified an issue in IRIS where manually entered campaign codes that are 8 characters long can trigger an error when creating an associated effort.
Campaign codes generated automatically by IRIS are not affected and continue to work as expected.
Campaign codes created manually, in Advantage, and entered into IRIS that are 7 characters and continue to work as expected.
Temporary Workaround
To avoid this issue, please ensure any manually entered campaign codes are exactly 7 characters in length.
A fix is scheduled for release in mid-July. We’ll provide an update once it’s deployed.

Advantage has been up and operational since 6:45pm EST last evening, as you are aware. We have processed through all of the backlog of OSM (online) orders and things are looking good. We’ve been methodical with both posting and Credit Card processing but, after careful watch everything looks good. Feel free to log in to Advantage (via OneLogin) and navigate around. Please do keep in mind that we are still not fully up and processing, posting, etc... so things you may be used to doing or seeing may not yet be available.
WMC is back up and fully operational as of yesterday. All online orders have cleared from WMC and have processed through OSM (Advantage) at this time. The Advantage team is keeping a close eye on them and will continue to do so. Any degraded performance in WMC such as Pre-pop on order forms, retrieving saved Credit Cards, and loading choices are all now fully functional and back to normal.
IRIS has remained up, and any degraded functionality that relied on a connection to Advantage such as pulling items, promo codes, and creating promo codes are are now fully functional.
PIE and SUA are fully operational. Signups were fully processed and caught up as of this morning.
Data Services is continuing to validate the operational modeling and all is looking good. Delivering data to Blueshift, Lytics, and Iterable was resumed around 1am today. The delivery of Fintech events and the list rule engine have been turned ON. Some data feeds remain in an inactive state but will be working to get those turned back on.
Reporting should be all caught up as of Monday morning. Please reach out to the D&A team with any specific questions.
We are still working on Accounting and Circbase processing but things are looking good.
Thanks, The 14West Technology Teams

Monitoring - Hi all,
As of 6:45pm EST, Advantage is back up, along with our other systems that are in recovery mode and are coming back up as well. Throughout the night and into Sunday we will still be continuing to focus on processing the backlog, monitoring queues, and maintaining the health of our applications. Please keep in mind that while systems are back up and we are in the home stretch of this Upgrade Project, we still have a few days ahead of us for our systems to recover. As promised, we will make sure we keep you updated and will provide additional status updates throughout the day tomorrow, Sunday June 22nd.
Thanks, The 14West Technology Teams

Identified - Hi all,
We wanted to provide a progress update at this time.
The Advantage Upgrade script has been running since 9:15pm EST yesterday (Friday, June 20th)- which was a little ahead of project schedule. At appx 5:30am EST we ran into an issue. The project team met and quickly found a manual solution so that we could get us back on track and able to move forward. Unfortunately, this put us a few hours behind schedule and we are looking at Advantage application coming back up around 6/7pm EST this evening. From that time, we will be in recovery mode, which will take several hours for all applications to come back up and testing to occur, as we work through our project task timeline. We will provide a status update at that time.
Thanks, The 14West Technology Teams

Investigating - KICKOFF At this time, we are pleased to announce we have kicked off the 25.0 Advantage Upgrade Project. All systems and services are in the process of coming down. Please refer to the “What to Expect When You’re Expecting an Upgrade” email sent on Monday, the 16th for the list of specific application impacts.
We will provide all project milestone updates via StatusPage.
The legacy IRIS system databases are currently hosted in the 702 building, using a platform and location we are moving away from. The IT team has successfully tested the database migration and is now ready to update IRIS Production.
This update is scheduled for Tuesday, July 8th, after hours — specifically at 3:00 a.m. EDT (technically early Wednesday morning the 9th).
We expect only a few minutes of downtime; however, to account for the unexpected, we are planning a 30-minute maintenance window.
Thank you for collaborating with us to find a suitable time for this important maintenance. Posted on

Scheduled -
The Change Upgrading the F5 BIGIP load-balancer code from version 16.1.5.1 to 17.5.0 in CORP (Prod)
Why are we making this change? To keep the code as updated as possible to a supported version.
The Impact: There is no anticipated impact as the hardware configuration is setup as a highly available fail-over cluster.
- What systems will this affect, and will they be available. If not, what is the time-frame for the outage?
All Prod systems behind the F5 BIG-IP load-balancer: (Will be available during the maintenance window) IRIS - PRD Advantage - PRD (Cider, API) Qlik - PRD C3 OpenShift Apps - PRD
- Will it affect the ability to take an order? - No - Will it affect the ability of a customer to access content? - No - Will it affect our ability to send email? - No
The Remediation Plan: Code will be upgraded on the standby appliance first and then a fail-over operation will be tested. If issues are identified, the appliance can be reverted by booting from the previous code partition. If no issues are identified, the code upgrade will proceed on the remaining appliance.

Update -
IRIS Campaign Code Issue – Partial Workaround Available
Workaround (Paid Efforts Only)
If you are creating a Paid Effort, and the IRIS Campaign you're using has a Campaign Code from Advantage, the promo code will generate as expected.
The issue only arises when creating a Paid Effort using an IRIS Campaign without an associated Advantage Campaign Code.
To work around this:
Create a Campaign Code in Advantage.
Add that Campaign Code to the IRIS Campaign.
Proceed to create the Effort/Promo Code as usual.
Lead Generation Efforts (No Workaround!)
There is currently no workaround for Lead Gen Efforts. At this time, Lead Generation links cannot be created in IRIS.
We’re actively investigating the issue and will provide further updates as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience. — The IRIS Team

Identified -
ALERT…We have encountered a validation issue with the integration between IRIS and the new version of Advantage.
You may experience errors when trying to create promo codes in IRIS. (Specifically Lead Gen Efforts and potentially other niche examples). If you do encounter a error you can proceed with setting up the promo code directly in Advantage and then adding them to the IRIS effort to proceed.
The team will be addressing this issue as soon as possible. We will provide further updates as we work through the development necessary to correct this validation error.
If you have any issues with creating a promo code in Advantage please reach out to the Advantage team and they will be able to help.

Qlik Sense has been upgraded to the latest version. Some users may experience a "500 error" when attempting to log in for the first time. If this happens to you, please close your browser completely and try again. If the error persists, you should completely clear your cache and try again. This appears to only be an issue with Chrome browsers at the moment.
If you experience any further difficulty, please submit a ticket to the D&A team.
